Word on the street is AFRICA IN MOTION (AiM) Film Festival is an annual AFRICAN FILM FESTIVAL that takes place in SCOTLAND from 23 October – 1 November 2015

AiM is in its first decade of a successful film festival, running since 2006 its AiM(ed) towards young and emerging AFRICAN FILMMAKERS. It was founded by Dr. Lizelle Bisschoff to overcome the under-representation and marginalisation of African films in the progressive British film going culture.

On average, annually, AiM receives about 80 entries from across the AFRICAN CONTINENT. Lets up the entries this 2015 my AFRICAN FILMMAKERS.

The film festival is set in EDINBURG and GLASGOW where a jury of high profiled film practitioners (unannounced) chooses a winner, which is then awarded a substantial cash Prize to put towards their next film/documentary development.

This years Submission deadlines: Short-films – 29 June 2015  |  Documentaries – 17 July 2015
